Deb,
I was very saddened to learn recently of Rob’s passing. My belated condolence and prayers to you. He brought mirth and merriness to many – a fine trait. My first encounter with him? Why, back in Stearns Country near the Watab, amid the swayed pines. I knew then he was special. Our Passport in hand, Zeke with his harmonica, and the night at hand – those moments were priceless. I will not forget his smile and spirit.

Deb,
I didn't know about this guest book until I was looking for Millie. I just found that they had this back when dad died April 2004. Anyway, as I said today, I am sorry I couldn't attend Robs funeral.
My heart goes out to you.
Always,
Cindy

Deb,
I am so sorry that I was unable to tell you in person just how very sad I was to hear of your loss of Rob. I know that as far back as SJU/CSB days, he was the "love of your life".
Your old 5th Street neighbor, Ann

I wish I were wise, because if I were, I could help you make some sense of this.
Thank you for all you have given this family for so many years, and our deepest condolences for all you have lost.

What a loss!!! I was devastated when I heard the news about Rob!!! Rob and I worked together at Siemens and became good friends discussing our father's deaths, loss of a loved one, losing weight, running, and so many other things. After I left Siemens, we still kept in touch via email. He was an amazing and kind person with a tremendous spirit. I will miss him...as will everyone who was blessed by Rob's presence in their life. To his wife and family, my thoughts are with you today and for the rest of your life. As Rob and I discussed, losing a loved one doesn't get easier, you just get more used to it as the years pass.

"Bob"? Priceless. I'm sure this is "Bob's" doing. I am positive he is relishing this. Thanks "Bob" for one last giggle.
Rob, if you only knew how much you are and will be missed.

The Weaver's Hand
My life is but a weaving,
Between my God and me,
I do not choose the colors,
He worketh steadily.
Oftimes He weaveth sorrow,
And I in foolish pride,
Forget He see the upper,
And I the underside.
Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
God unroll the canvas,
And explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the skillful Weaver's hand,
As the threads of gold and silver,
In the pattern He has planned.
Deb - Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your husband. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that at MME we all love you and care for you.
