Robert Michael Zillmer

Robert "Mike" Zillmer, age 64, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Mike was born on December 28, 1961, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Robert Orval Zillmer and Peggy Joy Archbold Pompa.

Mike built a life centered on family, hard work, and the many friendships he formed along the way.

During his final days, many in the community showed kindness and support for him and his family. Their care reflected the many lives Mike touched throughout his life.

Above all, Mike cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sara Zillmer; his son Cody Zillmer; his two daughters Kayter Zillmer (and her fiancé Alex Kirkpatrick) and Maliah Martinez (and her husband Travis Martinez). His greatest pride and joy was his beloved granddaughter, Sophia Martinez; his parents Robert Zillmer, and Peggy Pompa; and his sister Charlotte Swan.

Mike will be remembered for his generous heart, his dedication to those he loved, and the lasting impression he made on everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on April 11, 2026, at Verde Community Church, 102 South Willard Street, Cottonwood, Arizona. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Mike's life together.
