Robert "Bob" Zimmer, age 54, of China Twp. died March 20, 2017. He was born January 25, 1963 in St. Clair. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid sportsman but truly loved deer hunting. He is survived by his daughter Abigail (Timothy) Kubiak, grandsons Harvey, Timmy, and Gunnar. Father Harvey Zimmer, brother, Larry (Debbie) Zimmer, sisters Patty (Joe) Stephan, and Carol (Mark) Winter. He was proceeded in death by his wife Sheila, mother June, and sister, Linda.Funeral mass will be Friday March 24th, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday 2 to 8 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, with a rosary recital at 8 p.m. Additional visitation Friday at church from 10:30 to 11 a.m. prior to mass.Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. Bob was married to my niece Sheila. I was fortunate enough to be in their wedding! I did share some happy times with Sheila and Bob especaialy after Abby was born!
My Prayers are with all the family and friends. I will say a rosary as i cannot be with you for any of the services. God Bless
