Age 82 of Pittsburgh, PA on Sunday, October 17, 2010. She is survived by her son Michael Askey (Janie) of Cranberry Twp. PA; daughter Michelle Askey of Pittsburgh, PA; and two granddaughters. Visitation 12-2 p.m. on October 22 at the BERNARD P. SNYDER FUNERAL HOME 206 Main St. Reynoldsville, PA 15851. Funeral services will also be held at the funeral home, 2 p.m. on October 22, 2010. Interment Morningside Cemetery, DuBois, PA.

Bert (as I knew her) was one of my greatest friends. Our family spent many good times together, especially Thanksgivings. She worked with me at Monroeville hospital when it first opened. Loved her and our sympathies go out to Mike & Michelle. God bless.
