Roberta Ann Risting

Risting, Roberta Ann age 76, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013, in Burnsville, MN. Bert was a friend to many, and a joy to be around. She was an avid and talented seamstress, enjoyed playing the organ, singing, and took great comfort in her faith. Her most important role was of mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Steve (Carol) Risting of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Shary (Marc) Stadler of Urbana, OH, and Lori (Ken) Risting- Clark of Eagan, MN; five grand- children, Jon and Jenn Risting, Corey Knuppel, Cole and Jordyn Clark; one brother, two sisters and a sister- in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a brother- in-law. Bert has donated her body to the University of Minnesota Medical School. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wed., Oct. 23 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr., Burnsville, MN. The family extends its gratitude to friends, family, Arbors Staff, and Fairview Hospice for the joy they added to her life. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
