Robin CROTEAU Obituary
It is with great sorrow that the family of Robin Segundo Dizon Croteau announces his passing on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the age of 19 and a half years of age.
He is survived by his loving parents Robert Croteau and Teresa Dizon-Croteau. He is also survived by his grandparents Paul and Suzanne Croteau; maternal family, aunt Isabelita Dizon Siojo and her children Ed and Sheryl; uncle Danilo and Linda Dizon and their daughter Maria; aunt Rebecca (nee Dizon) and Lito Concepcion and their children Lerina and Andre; uncle Lino and Edith Dizon and their children Roanne, Joyce and Bryan; aunt Lucita and Phil Manayao de Belen and their children Lalaine and Mylene. Robin is further survived by his paternal family, uncle Marc Croteau; uncle Philippe and Dawnalee Croteau and their children, Laisa and Tevin Ebanks; aunt Annette Croteau and Soon Sit Yeap; aunt Michelle (nee Croteau) and Jeff Robinson and their children Claire and Elise.
Robin is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Segundo and Victorina Manayao Dizon; aunt Celia (nee Dizon) and his cousin Ricel Bobita.
Robin was welcomed into the loving arms of his parents on August 11, 1992 in Edmonton. He attended St. Francis Xavier High School and was attending MacEwan University. Growing up, he had a passion for hockey and played on numerous teams. After he hung up his skates, he joined the St. Francis Xavier Rugby Team and the Clansmen Rugby Club. His future was unfolding and he was contemplating law as a career path. He touched our lives in so many ways. Among his many qualities, no one will ever forget his broad smile and bear hugs. Robin will forever be in our memories.
A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.
A Mass of Christian Burial take place the following day, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Basilica, 10044 - 113 Street, Edmonton with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Robin's memory may be made to M.A.D.D.
