My sympathy to Robin's family. He was a wonderul individual, open to everyone and willing to listen . It was great to have spent time in the recent past and share stories at our last reunion of our times together.

I got to know Robin closely during our senior year at Byng. We embraced each other often, mainly on the rugby field, but occassionally over a Labbatt 50 as well on the weekend. I'm not surprised to hear that Robin battled his illness with dignity and class.

Rob was an a-one individual. We were classmates through out high school.Grads of 76.Also cellmates in 76 after one too many wobbly pop's.I have many more funny and wonderful memories as I'm sure all of you do as well.I'm very sorry for your loss.

Our sympathies to Robin’s family. I too have great “Byng” memories of Robin. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have known Rob and have him teach our kids over the past years in Tsawwassen. Robin was a great Dad, a great teacher/librarian and a very interesting, passionate person. He will be missed but not forgotten.

My deepest sympathies to all of Robin's family, friends and all who were priviledged to have interacted with him. I, myself didn't know Robin well but I do remember his kind words at our last reunion...God Bless you all and may you have peace and joy in the days to come.

I was extremely sad when I heard about Robin. Although we never "hung out" during our years at Lord Byng, he always said hi and always made everyone feel "better" when they engaged in a conversation with him. He was his "own person" and that is why everyone loved him so much! My sincere sympathy to his family and closest friends. I lost my second parent in June so I know how "tough" life is for those he has left behind. Thinking of you all.. Take care... Sonya (St-Amand) Gulbransen

I'd like to express my sincere sympathies over the loss of Your Robin, I remember him in the Byng days to be a free spirit and someone who did what he wanted. I'm glad to have known him and to have had a chance to see him at the reunion in 06.

I know how little the words of an outsider mean to you just now-but I must tell you how deeply I sympathize with you in your great loss. I have not seen Robin since the last Lord Byng reunion, but we shared a few stories about books.

For some reason the oldest memory that I have of Robin is sometime in grade 9 or 10. There was a party at his place, and he had the new album by this new band called Steely Dan. It was 'Can't Buy a Thrill', which I still have on album to this day. I remember him being very happy, on top of the world at that time in his life.
My condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear about Robins passing. I met Robin and family when our fathers Martin and Peter (Masters) found each other after many years and I found a whole new side to my family. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Robin's passing away. I have not seen him for a number of years but we grew up across the street from each other. He was a wonderful, caring friend to all, so full of laughter and the zest for life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Robins family: Your dad and husband was well liked by all in his teens, which is when I knew him best. We went to Byng together and played rugby with our friends. His mop of bright red hair and funny laugh is what I will recall most. I last saw him in 2006 at our 30 year grad. He made me laugh once again. Trust me when I say, he is not far away..
Good bye Rob
