Robin Lester Pastore, Sr., of Tampa passed away peacefully at the age of 64 in his home where he was surrounded and cared for by his loving family and Life Path Hospice. Robin was born on August 28th, 1947 in Gary, Indiana. The son of Robert Fogel Jr. and Madeline Hartman Fogel. Robin served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, were he received a Purple Heart. Robin moved to Tampa in 1979 and married Joyce the love of his life. Before retirement he was a Supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service. He and his wife built their vacation dream home in Murphy, NC, where they created fond memories and friendships together. Robin is preceded in death by his mother Madeline Weber, step-father Francis Weber, adopted father Rocco Vincent Pastore and brother Robert Fogel III. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Joyce. Daughter, Constance Ruilova ( Vincent IV)of Tampa, FL; our sons, Darnell Aro ( Mary)of Spring Hill, FL, Robin Pastore II ( Jennifer)of Wheaton , IL, Louis Pastore ( Anastasia) of Tampa, FL, and Michael Pastore ( Staci) of Tampa, FL. Robin was a loving PopPop to his 17 grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren. Other survivors include his father Robert Fogel Jr. of Ocala, FL; his mother-in-law, Audrey DeLaurie of Tampa, FL; his aunt LaRue Calire (Carl) of Maple Heights, OH; sister Lona Consier ( John) of Girard, OH; two brothers, Rodney Pastore ( Betty) of Virginia Beach, VA and James Pastore ( Roseann) of Youngstown, OH; step brother Glenn Weber ( Cindy) of Hudson, FL and two step sisters Dorothea Stephens ( Greg) of Lutz, FL;Sylvia Shortlidge of Brooksville, FL; sister-in-law Carol ( Rick) Cool of Youngstown, OH, and many nieces and nephews along with his devoted dog Wee Willie Weber . Visitation will be on Monday, August 20 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel from 9:30 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00AM. Burial with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robin's memory to Life Path Hospice www.lifepath-hospice.org
