Robyn R. Ross, March 28, 1959 - February 11, 2013 River Forest, IL. Robyn R. Ross, 53, passed away at 11:52 pm, Monday, February 11, 2013, in Rush University Medical Center. Robyn was born March 28, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Louis H. and Florence (Balinski) Ross. Robyn was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard J.Ross. Surviving are Jules R. Ross, brother, Karen I. Ross sister-in-law, Alissa Ross, niece, David M. Ross nephew. Robyn was a licensed attorney in Illinois. She received a B.A. from Chatham University, an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a J.D. from DePaul University. Prior to practicing law, Robyn was a professional sales executive at major financial institutions, Fidelity Investments, Schwab, and Harris Private Bank. Robyn was known for her high energy, love of world travel, and sincere passion for helping those in need. Robyn was a student of mine at Baldwin High School in Pittsburgh. I found her business card when I was cleaning out my desk today, Nov. 15, 2023. I wish to extend my condolences to her family and friends. She was a delightful and charming student. We had many soul-searching discussions after class. My husband expected her to become an actress on Broadway. I am sure that she is a star on a new horizon!

Robyn was a student of mine At Baldwin High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was brilliant, engaging, and a talented actress who had a stellar performance as the lead in the school´s production of Annie Get Your Gun. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Such a tragic loss for the world.

As another Thanksgiving approaches, I remember Robyn spending her last Thanksgiving with me and my family. She had gotten her recent diagnosis. I remember also spending her last days with her in the hospital. She was cognisent until the end; but passed peacefully. Rest in Peace my Dear friend!

I recently heard about Robyn's passing, and I was deeply sorry to hear this. I had not seen Robyn for sometime, and we lost track of each other about the time she started law school. If anyone got a lifetime of experience in a short life it was Robyn. I used to marvel at her trips, and love to see the treasures she returned with. I also fondly recall the wonderful, generous parties Robyn would throw. Halloween, Holidays, or just to reconnect - Robyn would have a party. Robyn had a kind and gentle spirit, that I know lives on in her friends. I had thought of Robyn often, and looked for her on social media sites, now I know why I could not locate her. I am truly sorry I lost touch with Robyn, and that I was not there for her. But I am comforted by the thoughts that she had friends, and family to help her on. God bless you Robyn.

Wow, Robyn a lawyer . . . For the longest time after high school, I watched for her name in the movie credits or a playbill . . . After Annie Get Your Gun and Where's Charlies, I was sure she'd be a movie or Broadway star . . . A star she is . . . Prayers . . .

Robyn's beautiful spirit is forever cherished in my heart. Her life and persona are a wonderful model for many of our daughter's and the future challenges they may face. A gracious, strong, intelligence force of nature, our Robyn, one who stayed engaged in meaningful ways. What joy Robyn brought to my life in the 3 short months I knew her. The hours I was able to spend with her, including Thanksgiving Day, were precious to me. She was always so thankful for everything we did for her but one of the best gifts she ever gave me was when she told the doctor that she loved Jesus. Robyn, i will see you in heaven some day. You are missed.
