Rocco RESTAURI

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rocco Restauri, on April 26, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton. Rocco leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Helen, and their children Matt (Vanessa), and Alysha, his sisters Gabriella (Trevor), and Caroline, and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Rocco is pre-deceased by his parents Matteo and Anna Restauri, and brother Maurizio (late Sandy). He is also survived by his best friend Glen. Rocco was a dedicated employee of The Barn Fruit Markets for over 20 years before they closed, where he then went on to work for Food Basics for another 20 years, as a hardworking, and dedicated employee. Rocco was an avid supporter of the Blue Jays and the Tiger Cats, and he also loved his Fox News. Rocco will be remembered for his love of Coca-Cola memorabilia and as a collector of coins, his passion for life and his family. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Tuesday, May 3rd from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. As per Rocco's wishes, cremation is to take place following, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
