Roch Baillot

In my High School years, Roch was my best friend, we shared our younger secrets and thoughts, we even lived together...He was a true friend...I was saddened by his passing away...

My deepest sympathies to the family...

I am greatly saddened to learn of Roch's passing. My memories of Roch from our days at the cottage when we were kids, our occasional get-togethers as young adults, and the few times we bumped into each other over the years are vivid memories that I will cherish forever. Our time together was brief, but my impressions of this man are everlasting. In my memory, he was insightful, genuine and good willed - a philosopher of sorts - ahead of his time. I regret not having the opportunity to get to know him later in life - we had so much to talk about.

To Marie-Helene, Symon and the rest of his family, I am very sorry for your loss. I remember when Roch fell in love with Marie-Helene, and from what I could see at the time, there could not have been a better partner for this man.

If you are watching down upon us Roch, I still remember our swim across Gray's lake when we were just out of our teens and how you soon transformed your body into a work of art through your training in taequondo. Six foot seven inches of solid muscle - a physique that would make even Joe Montferrand choose his words carefully in your presence. Yet, to me, you were the friendly giant.

Marie-Hélène et Symon,
I am so sadened to hear of Roch's passing. He was one of my dearest friends in our teen years and always a trusted friend though our paths but crossed only a few times in later years. His special soul and human kindness will be missed by many but most certainly by you, his beloved family.
