Rocky, or more affectionately, Rockford, and I go way back. We maintained a friendship for almost 60 years. During this time, I saw some amazing transformations in his life. Rocky had a wicked sense of humor and an uncanny ability to size people up in short order. He loved making new friends and was devoted to his family. His stoic battle with cancer is inspirational. It is with great sadness that I look upon his passing. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed.

I met Rocky and his brother Woody in 1965 Casper Little League and remember how much fun Rocky was; remember him in high school in our bicentennial high school class and at Casper College. Peace to his family and what a remarkable life full of adventure and love. A wonderful guy.

My condolences to the family. My brother Mike and I enjoyed many a game of pool and laugh with Rocky at Casper College, though we rarely got more than 2 turns before Rocky would run the table, and that was only if you won the lag for the break!

Rocky was the warm, thoughtful, caring and funny person we all wish we could be. I spent many fall Saturdays with him attending University of Wyoming football games. There was no obstacle in his life that he could not reduce to laughter. We all are diminished by his passing.
