What a wonderful man!

Rocky and I shared a common love for coffee, honesty, and Jesus. I am a richer man today because of the life Rocky and I shared! I remember thinking the first time we read through The Prodigal God and I saw him with tears in his eyes because he was amazed at the astounding love of Jesus - "This is a man who longs for the goodness of God!" I miss you and will always hold you as a part of my story and life.

I first met Rocky at church. I'm sure I asked him where he was from since he didn't have a Southern accent. He was born in the same city I was and lived in places I knew and loved. That was a great way to break the ice, but Rocky was always easy to talk to. He knew good stories, but he also loved talking about what Jesus had done for him. I will miss talking to him, hearing what he'd been up to, and seeing his smile and his cowboy hat. I know he's with Jesus now though that helps the hurt. Love you, Rocky!

The first time I spoke with Rocky, he had sent me a message on FB and it reads "Hi I'm Rocky, guess your my new sister. Here is my new song I'm working on", and we have been friends ever since. He was a special person and will never be forgotten
