Marti,
It is with much sadness that Steve and I have this news of Rod's passing. Our love and prayers go out for you and your family.
I still have the beautiful notebook you made from our Harley trip many years ago.
Love, Cissy and Steve

Dear Marti,
I was saddened by the news of Rod's passing and want to offer you and your family my deepest sympathy. During our Vietnam service Rod's creative humor helped make an otherwise lousy situation bearable for all who knew him. Although we connected periodically over the years the last time I was with Rod was at an officer reunion in 1987. Not surprisingly his creative story telling had us all laughing as he related his work experiences in the entertainment industry. He was fun to be around.
I hope you and family find strength at this difficult time. Rod will be missed.

Dear Marti,
You have our deepest condolences. As the producers of "Teen Wolf" we had the unique opportunity to witness Rod's endurable humanity withstanding the heat of what he characterized as the freight train of production. His quick wit never left him. We saw how his equanimity on set galvanized cast and crew, transforming what could have been a small, low-budget movie into a memorable classic that has entertained audiences for decades.
Every day he led us all with the grace and gallantry of a true southern gentleman. We will miss him, and we are both glad that we all had an opportunity to meet up at the reunion not too long ago.

Dear family of Rod Daniel,
I feel your pain as well as God does. God can rid the pain, anger, and sadness that we feel when we lose someone we love. May you find comfort in Luke 18:27, knowing all things are possible with God and he can help you during this time of distress.
Best wishes,
Aubriel C.
