I loved you dearly and forever, dear friend. May we meet again in freedom and peace to, once again, laugh and enjoy our fun friendship. God love you and keep you close.

I adored your dad & always thought he was so cool, chic. Recall him blasting opera on Sunday mornings with the doors open on Shenandoah. Ann Fox

Roger was a terrific employer and, for a time, business partner during my formative years as an architect in Dallas. We shared a love of early North Texas farmsteads and Santa Fe adobe, of barbeque and chili verde. Roger and his lovely wife Carolyn participated directly in the creation of a Victorian historic district in the State-Thomas neighborhood downtown by buying and restoring an old house for our office and in directing the restoration of many others. Roger was always supportive, even after I left the firm to go back to school to study historic preservation and to work on the east coast. I couldn't have asked for a better friend and mentor when I needed one. He was a rare individual and he will be missed.

Roger was a great mentor to me as a young intern Architect. He was easy going and always encouraging.
And a great sense of humor.
We had clients from California who were young and wore beards. He nicknamed them "the cough drop brothers".

I worked with Roger at Burson, Hendricks and Walls for many years and enjoyed that experience tremendously. Roger was a pleasure to work with.
My business partner, Ted Larson and our associate Bob Richie also worked with Roger and we all were influenced by him in our practice.
My condolences to his family on his passing.
