I had the great honour of talking to Mr. Sexty at Oilfields where I was working. I have always been interested in planes and talked to him about his experiences during the war.
He said, 'when you're a young man, and you throttle up a plane and you know that today you will die or you will kill some other young man...it changes you...it changes you..."
I felt very honoured that he shared that with me. He was a lovely man. I won't forget him. I am grateful to have met and talked to him a few times.
I also told him that 'we owe you guys everything'. He said, 'you really do you know.'
He was right of course. We, the generations succeeding his owe them everything we have.
Rest In Peace Mr. Sexty.

It was a Honor to known Roger, his great sense of humor, his stubborness, his determenation, his drive to have everthing in order for the last few years, thinking ahead of the game all the time. I think if his body would had cooperated with his mind Roger would have made it, to live well over 100. We will never forget you Roger
