So sad to hear of Dock "Rodney's Passing." I was one of his first patients in the little office I believe was on Avenue U. I remember the first time I was at the office I asked him if was was old enough to be a dentist. Time frame is approximately early 80's. He sat me in that chair, put the head phones on and Jackson Browne put it just the right mood. He made a wonderful impression on me. My wife and I both went to him for all our dental needs - then we moved away. I always tell people about Dr. Leibowitz and the impact he made on me. So Sad!

Saddened to hear of Rodney's passing. He was a classmate of mine in Madison HS and as a friend outside of school. Though years had passed as our lives went in different directions, I met him again when I needed his dental expertise. He will be missed, but always remembered. Rest in peace, buddy.

I miss Rodney he was an extremely caring giving wonderful human being. He was truly one of a kind. He treated me like a member of his own family. Routinely Inviting me to one of this favorite spots "The Grand Havana Room"
Rodney was so well known and sought after for his sense of humor high energy zest for life and fantastic stories.
I had the pleasure of meeting his wife and family.
In the fast-paced world that is New York, Rodney made you feel like you were the only one that mattered.
I have met many people in my line of work, none compare to him. I only knew him for about 2 years, However Rodney made you feel like you knew him for a lifetime.
Rodney was a class A guy, awesome dentist, caring and kind. Most importantly a great friend.
I visited him in the hospital during his final days and it broke my heart to see what he was enduring,
He will be forever in my heart and I miss him greatly.

I just heard about the passing of Dr. Leibowitz, I was shocked. I didnt realize he was sick. Although Dr. George worked on my teeth, there were times when Dr. Leibowitz needed to speak with him and he was so apologetic that he was taking up some time. So well mannered and such kind demeanor. Heaven has surely gained an angel, May he Rest In Peace. Condolences to his friends and family.

I just received a notice from Dr Leiberwitz office telling of his passing. I am truly heartbroken, I never met a more sincere man who put me at ease the moment I saw him for implants.
His joy of talking about his Grandson made me think of mine and how much they mean to us.
The last time I saw Dr Leiberwitz, he was going to visit his daughter in California and was so looking forward to the visit.
He was also so thrilled of two more grandchildren who were on the way.
He was a happy, happy man who loved his life and family. I will miss my visits to the office. Rest In Peace Dr Leibowitz.

Just found out about Dr. Rodney's passing. I am shocked and very sad but grateful that I knew such a wonderful man. I just found out about the passing of a wonderful person Rodney Leibowitz. I was deeply saddened by this terrible news. I cried when I found out remembering what a wonderful human being he was. I felt as if I lost a very dear friend and he was like a family member. He was always there for me whenever I had pain and he immediately told me to come in so he could take care of me. My wife Nikki and I just learned of Rodney's death today January 8, 2019, the morning we had an appointment. We've been patients for a number of years. He was a kind friendly, kind soul who knowing we were afraid of dentists promised he wouldn't hurt us and didn't. May God bless him and his family.

Dr. Leibowitz was the best dentist ever. I cried when I found out the news of his passing. He was a gentle giant and always made me smile even after he drilled my mouth. Our hearts were broken when we heard this sad news. We were patients of Rodney's for very many years - when he was in practice with the Locke brothers. He was a wonderful and caring dentist. He was such a kind, loving human being. We remember shortly after 9/11 when Rodney went down to Ground Zero and ran into Tom there - he had no idea that Tom was a member of FDNY and a 9/11 survivor. He hugged Tom right then and there. He went on to help so many of the heroes and volunteers at Ground Zero. He donated so much of his time and energy to helping out in every way he could. Whenever Tom would go into his office after that, he was met with a hug and a kiss from Rodney - he genuinely cared. Rodney and his friend Gary Krupp brought crosses from Ground Zero to Pope John Paul II. Rodney continued to care for our son after we left New York. He loved his family, he loved his job, he loved his friends and he genuinely cared for his patients. No one will ever be able to fill his shoes. We will never forget him and will carry him in our hearts forever. Thank you Rodney. Thank you to the Leibowitz family for sharing him with us. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

I am heart broken, I am very sad. I was just told of Dr. Leibowitz passing, I have been blessed to be his patient. He literally help bring my smile back, as he always did when I seen him. I am in shock, the last words he said to me, not to worry I will be fine with a smile on his face..... May Doctor Leibowitz memory be a blessing. My heart is with you as you mourn. Dr. Leibowitz had such a beautiful spirit, his positive attitude on life. It is a Small World, I had the pleasure to work with his daughter Jodi, and how surprised he was to know that I worked as a receptionist for Willkie Farr & Gallagher, he said with a huge smile and proud to say "My daughter Jodi worked for Willkie"!! I will remember him always in my prayers. My prayers go out to the Leibowitz family, Tracey, Jodi, Mrs Leibowitz and family... Dr. Leibowitz had this love in his eyes when he spoke of you all. G-d has a beautiful Angel, please know you have an Angel always watching over you. I will miss him and I am blessed to have Doctor Leibowitz cross my path on this journey of life. G-d Bless You Dr. Rodney, you are the best!!!

I'm so heart felt right now. My name is Cynthia/Patient. I Just call the office to check up on Dr Leibowitz as I do and received the sad news.
