Rodney GOD I wish you were here with us. You have 3 new nieces and a nephew you know.... You would have had a field day with Viviana and especially Bianca you know... lol I need you and mom and have had since day one. I love you, and our memories are embedded on my heart and in mind forever.

I meet Rodney and his friends when I was 15yrs old. We were at a Snowball retreat in the middle of winter. We remained friends for a little while but since we all went to different schools and lived in different towns we lost touch. My friends: Trisha, April, Jodi, & Vicki all had many memories with him. Rodney was a good guy with a good heart. Things didn't always work out for him but he always tried to do the right thing. I have thought of him from time to time and always wondered what happened. I am very sorry for your loss. I just lost my brother too the same way so I know the loss that you feel. Many blessing to you all!

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family & friends of Rodney! It has been years since I have heard his name. A couple of girlfriends and I met Rodney and some of his friends at Lincoln mall when we were 15. Good times! Some of our best stories came from that time! Sorry that we had all lost touch! My friends Janel, April & Vicki and I went to Oak Forest to visit them and what an adventure that turned into! So sad to hear this news!

I was shocked to hear this....as a young teen he would catch me drinking beer up at the park and everytime he would dump it out just like a big brother! My condolences to his family! Rodney touched many peoples lives even if it were just for 5 minutes of knowing him! He will be missed and never forgotten!

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Rodney, at Lippert's Peoria branch. Rodney was involved in installing equipment in most of my projects including many restaurants, nursing homes, churches and other foodservice facilities throughout Illinois. Rodney was always our "Go To" guy for the heavy lifting. I will miss his candid point of view and his sense of humour. He touched more than he realized and will be missed by many.

I am completely floored by this news. I worked with rodney during his days at burger king. He was always laughing, cracking jokes, always cheering everyone up just by being him! I haven't seen him in about 8 years, but Ive never forgotten him and his laugh. So sorry to the family on the loss of Rodney. He is not the type of person anyone can ever forget!

This has all just came as a shock. Rodney was my first serious relationship. He was my first for many things. I haven't seen him in 15 yrs but he is someone I would never forget. Not too long ago my kids found things of mine from HS with his name on it an asked me who he was. He will definitely be missed :(
