Roger Alan Blaylock

Roger Alan Blaylock, aged 57, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Trinity, FL. Born on June 17, 1967, Roger was known for his loyalty, integrity, and genuine nature. He was a family man who loved deeply. Roger was a devoted husband to Danielle, and a loving father to Rosa, Savannah, and Jesse. He was a trusted friend and confidant with lifelong friendships.

Roger grew up in Homer Glen, Illinois and graduated from Lockport High School in Lockport, Illinois. He had a versatile career, working as a Lineman for Local Nine in Illinois, a CDL Trucker, and for the last 5 years at Waste Management in Florida. Roger was a jack of all trades.

His hobbies reflected his diverse interests and talents: music- particularly The Beatles, playing bass, writing poetry, and engaging in philosophical and historical discussions. He also loved being silly with his kids and making others laugh.

Roger enjoyed cooking, collecting guns, shooting at the gun range, motorcycles, muscle cars, going to Beatlefest, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was also an avid gamer and a compassionate caretaker to his dogs.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Danielle Lindsay-Blaylock; his children, Rosa, Savannah, and Jesse; his father, Roger Lee Blaylock; his stepmother, Sally Rich-Blaylock; his siblings, Tammy Blaylock Wolak and Carl Blaylock; brothers-in-law, Dave, Dan, and Tom Lindsay, Russ Smith, and Gene Wolak; and his closest friends, Jason Botka, Jesse Kazemek, and Camille DeAngelis. Roger was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lucille Blaylock; mother-in-law, Diane Lindsay; father-in-law, Danny Lindsay; and brother-in-law, Louie Lindsay.

A Celebration of Roger's life will be held on Sunday, July 13th at 2:00 PM at Pyramid Sports Bar and Pizzeria,

236 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101.

Roger's life was marked by his loyalty, generosity, and the deep connections he forged with all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
