Hey RFB!!! Here we are now 15 years later and I´m still missing you.

Roger Bowden??? Roger Bowden. Have you been at Home for nine years? You taught us to strive and to reach for our impossible dreams. Until I get Home, and not rushing to get there, Philander.

Dear Cousin It has now been 7 years since you left us ( October 22,2010) so much has changed. But one thing remains the same and that is HOW MUCH I STILL MISS YOU!!! How we would sit on the porch laughing and talking about things. We were more than cousins, we were friends (brother/sister). Love Ya! Miss Ya!

Unbelievable, that such a young and wonderful person had to go so soon. You have touch so many lives, I know you did mine, you'll never be forgotten, but will be greatly missed.

Mr. Bowden was a magnificent professor and person. I had the honor to take Government classes with him that taught me immensely, I even memorized Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and recited it in class. I will always remember him for his charisma and unique teaching style. God Bless you and your family.

Mr. Bowden was a woderful professor and person. I had the pleasure to take both Bovernment classes and learn tremendously about our court system. I will always remeber him for his love of music and passion to teach.. I will dearly miss him..

Roger, I will truly miss you. I take comfort in knowing that God allowed us to cross paths. I also take comfort in knowing that you lived a very exemplary and impactful life. We had a very healthy appreciation and respect for one another. I will cherrish our talks, debates, laughs, and times that we talked about music, sports, movies and yes politics. Today, I thought about you a lot because today was election day. You were and still are my brother! I will not let your memory die and your legacy and spirit will live on!!!! I love you brother and may God Bless you and your family. I will be checking on them periodically. Well done Roger F. Bowden!!!

Mr. Bowden was great Instructor at H.C.C. and will be missed dearly.

Roger was always so friendly and helped me considerably on a City of Houston HR matter a few years ago. His sudden loss was a sad and solemn occurrence. My prayer is that his family will somehow find some solace and comfort in the days to come.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bowman one time in his Government class at HCC and he had a profound influence on my life. My heart has been heavy since I learned of his passing. My prayers go out to the family. He was a very intelligent Black man.

Roger was our classmate at Texas Southern University during 2000-2001 where we received our graduate degrees. Roger had his opinions about political issues and did not mind sharing or debating them with you. He was a wonderful person to know.We will certainly miss him. We will keep the family in our prayers.
