Mr. Brown,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II as a member of the 10th Mountain Division fighting the Germans. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The 10th Mountain Division was one of the best trained units in the Army during the War and captured some of the most heavily defended German positions in Northern Italy during the War.
