In memory of
Laura-Ann Cammisa
April 30, 2024
Like Eileen, I have very fond memories of Roger from our high school days. He was a funny, kind, and well-liked friend to all. It is not surprising that he went on to have such a successful life and impact on so many others. He will certainly be missed in future class reunions.
Condolences to his family- what a blessing his life was and such a sad loss for them and anyone who knew him.

His memory is a blessing to all who knew him. I still remember him sitting behind me in class and pulling on my ponytail. He had a joyful spirit. Love to his family.

Roger was an amazing man. I came to Estee Lauder out of college and he took me under his wing and was an incredible mentor, guide and inspirational force in my life. My whole career at Estee Lauder was because of his guidance and care. I am so grateful to have known him and for everything he did for me. His qualities of leadership, unlimited energy and creativity are something that is rare in this day and age. He touched so many lives. I know he will be greatly missed.

During our Berner High reunion it was fabulous to see him. Roger and I flashed back about our past and how we enjoyed such a great friendship.
Roger now in heaven I'm sure will be making the Angels above laugh and all very happy."God bless him" and may you all hold on to the important & loving memories of your life together.

I knew Roger in grade school & in Berner H.S. My immediate thought when I heard about his passing was, "Roger, I remember he was always kinder than the other boys at school".
We never kept in touch but from what his family and friends have written here, Roger the man, lived a life of genuine kindness.
The Bible says when we leave this world we only take with us our good deeds. Roger is a true success and the world needs more good men like him.
God bless you in heaven Roger as you blessed us on earth with your kindness.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Roger"s passing. We went to Alfred G. Berner H.S. together in Massapequa Park. Our fathers also went to school together and reunited through us. The last time I saw Roger was at our 20th H.S. reunion when he had me do a skin type profile for him--I also worked for Estee Lauder at the time as a
Beauty Advisor/Make-up Artist. He REALLY LOVED his work! He was a great guy, very likeable and kind. My heartfelt sympathies to Elizabeth and all the children, his mom, and Connie. He left a beautiful legacy. May God bless and keep you, Roger. BarbaraLee Martino (Renta)

We grew up together in Massapequa Park and got to know each other at Berner H.S. Roger used to sit behind me and pull my ponytail. He was so playful and the spelling of our names were so close we were always on lines next to each other. A man with a big heart and generous spirit.
I still have a necklace he bought me in high school as a remembrance of the laughter and friendship we shared. I heard from another California friend (Barbara DeLise) also from Mass Park about his passing as she read it in WWD. We're all 59 and still kids at heart. We're celebrating his meaningful life and all the good he has done in this world with a heavy heart.

Roger and I lived near each other and shared many a ride to the office in Melville during the early years of his career. We had many laughs, and shared many meetings during our time together. My sincere sympathies - it is truly a loss. He was a purchasing guy when I knew him, and went on to such greater heights. He never forgot those of us he met along the way. I am stunned and truly saddened and wish his family the deepest sympathies.

My deepest sympathies go out to Elizabeth and to the family and friends of Roger's. He will always be one of my best memories of working at Estee Lauder. The wisdom, guidance, and generosity of spirit he gave us as we "grew up" through the ranks at E.L. will never be forgotten. In fact, I cannot imagine an Estee Lauder without Roger. He will live on in spirit and be remembered as a guiding light to all who had the honor and pleasure of knowing and working with him.

My deepest sympathies to Roger and his family. I worked for Roger when I first came to Estee Lauder and enjoyed every moment with him. I was very distressed to hear about his passing and extend my heartfelt prayers to his wife Elizabeth who I also had the pleasure of working with some years back and all their children. He left this world much too young but left a wonderful legacy for his family to be proud of. Rest in peace Roger, your friend Emily Palazzo

I grew up in the world of beauty under your (and Elizabeth's) expert, and always smiling, guidance. Your leadership presence was felt and revered throughout the whole organization. I learned so much from you and often look back to my days at EL with great fondness. My deepest sympathies go out to Elizabeth and David, as well as to the rest of your family and friends.

I unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting Roger, though I was looking forward to when I actually would. I only heard wonderful things about him. My thoughts and love are with his wife, Elizabeth, "Liz" as I grew up knowing her from our college days, Lindsey and Michael, the Kittays and the Caracappas, during this time of sadness.
Liz, I am here for you always and no matter what....and as you said, we reconnected at this time in life for a reason. I love you and I know Roger will be missed by all his friends and loved ones. All my love,

I am crushed by the news of the loss of Roger, a great humanitarian, friend, mentor, who loved life, his family, who gave his all for his company and those who worked with him. He was a special man who made work fun. So much of what I know, especially about people and relationships, I learned from Roger. I owe him so much. He was the best and I will miss him greatly.

I rode the train with Roger for many years. He was a wonderful person, always smiling and doing paperwork on the train. When I was out of work several years ago, he was concerned about me and set me up with an interview at EL in Melville. I have many fond memories of Roger and was very saddened to hear of his death.
