Roger COLES Obituary
September 19, 1958 - June 24, 2013
It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and son, Roger Coles, at the age of 54 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Michelle; daughters Roxanne, Candace (Derrik); sons Trevor and Joey; as well as grandchildren Joshua, Mikaiah, Daniel, Noah, David, Harmony, Stephanie and Cody. Also surviving is his mother Betty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Roger was predeceased by his son Daniel, father Robert, brother Barry and granddaughter Sarai.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the MacKenzie Centre, Drayton Valley, Alberta with Rev. Kimberly Roy officiating.
If friends so desire memorial donations in his memory may be made to STARS, Suite 100, 1519 - 35 Avenue East, Edmonton International Airport, AB T9E 0V6 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Alberta Branch, Suite 100, 12220 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 3Y4.

Roger was a man of conviction and many passions. He did everything with an intense energy and dedication that made all of his endeavours meaningful and successful. He made a big difference to the community of Drayton Valley as well as with his family. He leaves behind a legacy and many wonderful memories. He will be missed by many. We are so sorry to hear about Roger's death. I worked with him in Whitehorse in the 80's when he was Liberal Party leader, and knew him to be a loyal and compassionate person who always found the time to help someone in need.
