Roger Delawder Obituary
Roger worked for many years at Justin Dove Farms in Broadway and after retiring, continued working as a tractor-trailer driver. He loved the mountains and treasured his time at the Delawder family homeplace in Mathias, West Virginia.
He is survived by many cousins and by his closest loved ones, Brian Delawder and Lisa Lucas of Broadway, and their sons, Wyatt and Corbin Delawder. Wyatt and Corbin were like grandchildren to Roger and affectionately called him Gogo. Roger will be cremated, with a private burial to be held at a later date at Linville Creek Church, where he will be laid to rest beside his parents.
Family and friends are invited to a remembrance gathering on Sunday, February 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Plains District Community Center (233 McCauley Drive, Timberville, VA).

Roger's parents & my parents were best friends when I was growing up. I remember 2 Thanksgiving days at their house , our Dad's would go hunting & the Mom's cooked Thanksgiving Dinner. So I became one of Roger's play mates he was great friend for many years. Sending my deepest sympathy to all of you.
