Roger R. Gabriel

Roger Gabriel was a one of a kind father in law. In the ten years that Jim and I dated, I spent a great deal of time with Roger and the rest of the Gabriel clan. From day one of meeting him, I realized he was a special kind of guy. He was never afraid to say what was on his mind, and almost always had everyone in stitches. He always made me feel special,loved, and a part of his family. He always supported me in times of need and encouraged me to follow my dreams. He was the epitomy of "a guy who would do anything for anybody". His love for life, fun, adventure,......his giving and his kindness to strangers and loved ones alike,...... his strength and success as a fabulous husband, father, grandfather, father in law, and member of the human race will be remembered and should be emmulated by all who were fortunate enough to be touched by him. I will miss him dearly, and long to make him proud of me. Over the years I promised him lots of things,,,,,to buckle my seat belt,,,bake him those cookies he has been asking me for,,,,stay out of trouble,,,but my last promise to him was the most sincere and important of all....with all my heart I promised him that I would do my absolute best to be a good wife for Jim and to make him happy. It breaks my heart to see this family lose Roger so unexpectedly, but I am confident that he is watching over us from heaven.

Roger was and will always be like a Guardian Angel to me and my family. He was always ready to give a helping hand. We drifted apart, but we have always kept fond memories of Roger's kindness,and friendship,sense of humor. We will miss him. God Bless his family.
