I was caught off guard unaware of Roger´s passing this past late summer. Roger and I had maintained contact via Facebook and texts. He was a good friend and an accomplished renaissance gentleman. My sincerest condolences to his daughters, his brother Dennis and his wife, and to all his many friends and his admirers. Roger and I had hope to get together as we both lived on the east coast of Florida.

Roger and I were residents of a local condominium. He was a huge sports fan with excellent knowledge of professional football and boxing. I came from this background and we exchanged many stories of sports teams and boxers from the 50s and 60s. Along with this he was a great guy with a super sense of humor. I will miss him.
