Roger Gibb

GIBB, Roger 71 years. February 12, 2011. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband and best friend of 45 years to Margy (Vagi). Loving father of Barbie Gibb and friend Johnny Catrini, James and Lisa Gibb, Harrow. Loving grandpa of Joshua and Allison. Son of the late Charlie Gibb (1988) and Ada (Brown) (1983), son-in-law of Elizabeth Vagi and the late Steve Vagi (1999). Dear brother of Rosalee Gibb, Belle River, the late Robert (2010) and Judy Gibb, Harrow. Roger retired as a water treatment plant operator with many years of service. Roger served 33 years of service on the Harrow and Colchester South Fire Department, retiring as Fire Chief. Roger was the first appointed and first elected Deputy Reeve for the Town of Harrow; he was a past councilor for the Town of Harrow and the County of Essex and was a past member of the Harrow Kinsmen Club. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King St. W., Harrow. Visitation on Tuesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Rick Janisse officiating.
