Roger Keith "Scooter" Hill II Sunrise……. September 14, 1989 Sunset……. October 2, 2010 Roger Keith Hill, II was born September 14, 1989 to Roger Hill, Sr. and Deborah Kidd. He went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2010 following a brief illness. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; R.C. Sr. and Mattie Pearl Hill; maternal great-grandparents; L.C. and Willie Mae Kidd and aunt Celeste Bryant. Roger graduated from Timken Senior High in 2007 and was a member of the basketball team. Roger was a spirited, fun-loving person and had much love for his family. He was a wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. He touched everyone he came in contact with. He was a die hard L.A. Lakers fan. Roger leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Deborah L. Kidd, and father, Roger Sr. (Heather) Hill; grandmother, Willadean Kidd; brothers, Chaz (Danielle), Mitchell, Jeremiah Hill and DaJon Hall; sisters, Tia and Tiara Hall, Chazare (TiRon) Jester; aunts, Gloria Campbell, Silisa Kidd, and Chante Ray all of Canton; Henrietta Frizzle and Dorothy Madry both of Huntsville, Al; uncles, R.C. Jr. (Juanita) Hill, Joseph (Angela) Hill, James Hill all of Canton, OH, Robert (Sandy) Hill of Cleveland, OH, and Charles (Yolanda) Hill of Tampa, FL.; special nephew, Kardeon Allen; great aunts, Lillie (Benjamin) Betts-Hakim, Rosemary Betts, Donna Jean Betts, Mary Bennett and Vivian Hill all of Canton, OH; great uncles, Joe Hill, Arthur (Sandra) Hill, Theodis (Ruth) Hill and Jessie (Katie) Hill; godfather, Dale Jackson; special cousins, Tiana and DeAndre Tavares, William (Bee) White, Adrian and Justin Betts; special aunt Adrienne Chenauct; special friends, Arron and Vince Carter, Skylar Richardson, RaShawn Compton, Desmond Johnson and Drew Dykes and a host of other cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Deliverance Christian Church (2130 31st St. NW) with Bro. Larry Battle officiating. Calling hours are 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
