Roger D Hobbs, age 62 of Rockvale passed away Saturday, February 05, 2011 at his residence. Roger is a native of Dekalb County and lived most of his life in Rutherford County. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Hobbs; step-son Keith Buchholz and sister-in-law Judy Hobbs. He is survived by his wife, Sharon L Hobbs of Rockvale; mother, Johnnie Hobbs; two sons, Ronnie Hobbs of Murfreesboro and Kenny Buchholz of Rockvale; two daughters, Rhonda (Rick) Grafton of Antioch and Lori (Dale) Thomas of Rockvale; one brother, Doyle Hobbs of Rockvale; one sister, Frances (John) Clark of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Roger will be 10:00 am on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Jennings & Ayers with Pastor Don Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Windrow Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Jennings & Ayers, 820 S. Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
