Roger S. Holderfield

Roger Stacey Holderfield, 38, Duncanville, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002. The funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, with Bill Bagents officiating. Interment will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.He was a member of the Church of Christ, a graduate of Mars Hill in 1981, and an electrician by trade. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie B. Holderfield of Courtland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Clem of Elkmont.Survivors include his parents, Robert and Alice Holderfield of Florence; daughter, Mindy Holderfield; brother, Robert B. Holderfield Jr. and his wife, Kaye, of Florence; grandfather, Oscar Holderfield of Courtland; aunts and uncles.Pallbearers will be Charlie Shirley, Fred Shirley, Allen Loosier, Todd Clem, Charles Clem Jr. and Kenneth Walker.Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, is directing.
