A final farewell till we meet again to my cousin with the most seniority in the family.
You were there for me at my 1st communion and from then on.
If you can take time out from those karate lessons up there please pass along your strength to my Godfather Gerry & Auntie Jan. Your parents are heart broken for a love they have lost, be their guardian and their strength.
We will all miss your compassion contagious laugh.
Rest in peace my cousin.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Roger's family in their time of sorrow. He was one of the first people I met at Essex Engine and I was proud to call him "friend"! He accepted everyone and judged no one. He will be missed.

Roger -Thinking of Our Friendship
With your passing as always
I'm thinking of you
Of the laughter and fun
Of the quiet times too
Remembering also
The way that you cared
No wonder it was so special
The friendship we shared
Roger,my true friend, your memory will always remain in my heart. May you rest in peace.
Dear Jeanette & Gerry:
Your loving, kind and generous son Roger would not want you to feel like he has abandoned you as you were always his main purpose in life. I am sure he would want you to treasure the following Native Prayer as if he was speaking to you in his own gentle words:
Till we meet again Mom & Dad
I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still - I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autum rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the stars that shine at night
Do not think of me as gone
I am with you still with each new dawn.
Remember always - Roger's love is eternal.
With My Deepest Sympathy
Roger's Friend

Uncle Roger, Richard Roy jr. and Carmen Roy.

Roger was a man who was an unsung hero. He had a heart of gold and was a friend to anyone who needed one.
He took me under his wing at work on how to do engine repairs but in doing so, taught me compassion.
In my twenty four years at Ford, I have never met anyone who I admired more.
Rest in peace my friend.

Our deepest sympathy to Gerry and Jeannette, You have raised such a beautiful human being. Our lives have been enriched by Roger's presence and our love for Roger will be with us forever. Roger 's love for others and his devotion was unwavering. His kindness radiated through his smile and laughter and how he loved to pull pranks on unsuspecting victims ha!. Life was very precious to Roger and he made sure his time spent with you would be one that you would remember for a very long time. But when you saw his magic is when children were by his side. His attentiveness and respect toward them, would win their hearts. I think it was Roger's joy and purpose in life , to give of himself so quietly , so humbly , so perfectly. Quotation by Henry Drummond:'You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have really lived, are the moments when you have done things in a spirit of love. Love you Roger Loulou (AKA. Luigi), Rich, Jennie, Carmen , Carmelxxxxxooooo

Mr.& Mrs. Mailloux:
Roger and I went through elementary school together at Ecole Brebeuf. He was Roger "Le Grand" and I was Roger "Le Gros". I had only seen him a few time in the past 40 years. When my wife died in November 2006, he and Richard Roy came to Petrolia for the visitation - I was deeply moved. Like my wife, his life was much too short. My sincere sympathy.

Roger was a wonderful, caring, and generous man whose passing is a tremendous loss to everyone who knew him. His commitment to his family, friends, and students (he was a Sensei at Windsor Essex Martial Arts) was unwavering and served to inspire those around him to think of and respond to the needs of others.
Both myself and my children will miss his humour, gentleness, and selflessness. He was a good and honourable man.
Goodbye Mr. Roger.
