I remember the day Roger came to join our AT&T Dragon Boat Team a few years ago. I introduced him as different as he was wearing an SF Giants hat and many on our team were Oakland A´s fans. I didn´t want to draw attention to his prosthetic leg. I was always inspired by his grit and determination to paddle with us. He never complained and never let his disability hold him back. We went on to win medals together. Rest in peace, Roger. See you in paradise one day with Jesus.
