Roger Wayne Rebbe

I am saddened. I have known Roger since high school and the Order of the Arrow. We had some great memories. I will write more later. Stunned to lose s great man way to early. Tommy Loffarelli

I just learned the news and am very saddened by Roger's passing. All my thoughts and prayers to Patty and your family.

This is really a tough day. Like many of you I had known Roger since junior high school some 50 plus years ago. We became good friends in student government and on outings with the boy scouts. Throughout the years we went on camping trips together and enjoyed visits at my house. As you know, Roger was a happy go lucky guy. Despite hitting bumps in the road of life , he would always pick himself up with a smile. His heart was often in evidence at high school dances and at class reunions spending hours working on the preparations and running the events. Seared into my memory of Roger is the sight of him singing the Van Nuys High school alma mater at the end of a tough football game. Battered and bruised, but smiling and waving his helmet in a moment of glory.

Roger became an eagle scout at his moms urging. She told him once you become an eagle scout, the world is your oyster. We use to laugh about that statement and while that didnt happen, I hope my friend enjoys that oyster in heaven. My heart goes out to Rogers wife Patty, sons Ryan, Anton and Sergey and his entire family.

I call Troop 209 to attention. Would the bugler begin playing taps.

I am so sorry about Roger. He was always kind, patient, reassuring and helpful. He will be missed.

I recently had my taxes done and Roger was in his always jovial, happy mood. So sorry, so sad. Thoughts and peace to Patty and his family.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Roger, who I have known since childhood. Words come so slowly and are difficult to find when someone who was so happy, kindhearted, and jovial leaves they leave a huge hole in the world. My love and prayers to the family, Patty his loving wife, and the entire Rebbe family.

I am shocked and sadden to hear of Rogers passing. He was super nice and just a great guy. My condolences to Patty and the Rebbe Family. He wull be missed. I am sending Prayers to your family at this difficult time.
