Roger Russell Obituary
Roger is survived by his wife, Cynthia, daughter Kristal, and brother Robert. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Russell, parents Clyde and Audrey Russell, and sister Andrea Russell Wiggins.
Roger graduated from Frayser High School and earned an Associate Degree at State Technical Institute, Memphis, TN. He served in the Army from 1971-1973. Roger was proud of his military associations and the time he served defending his country.
Roger spent 42 years at Internal Revenue, Memphis, TN. He was passionate about his work and dedicated to his colleagues.
Roger worshipped at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Church of the Holy Spirit.
In his free time, Roger loved to listen to music and make CDs. He was also very interested in keeping up with current events and the political scene.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 10th from 1-3 at New Hope Christian Church, 3300 Kirby Whitten Road, Bartlett, TN 38134. Please join the family for a casual gathering to enjoy what Roger loved best, sharing a meal around the table and sharing memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
