To Kathy Santora and the Sharrer Family.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Roger. What a wonderful, wonderful person he was and Roger definitely was one of the pillars of amateur hockey in Western Pennsylvania. I still look back with great fondness at some of the good times we had when we attended various coaching clinics in the early 1980’s and I have great respect for the impact he has had on our sport and so many young athletes in our area. We were all blessed to have known him and again please accept my sympathies.

My memories of Uncle Roger always involved a smile. He was a good man from a good family and although he is in a better place, he will be missed. Aunt Kay - I understand if he was buried in a hockey jersey. We love you all.

My deepest sympathy to the Sharrer family. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Roger both thru ATT and his dedication and support of youth hockey. He was a true gentleman, a man of his word, very committed to his family, his job, and to hockey. It was an honor to know him and to work with him. I'm confident that he is organizing a league up in heaven! God blessed us with a great man and his legacy and memories will be with all of us.
