Roger Swire Obituary
He is survived by his brothers Russell Swire of New Bedford, Brian Swire of Fairhaven, Thomas Swire of Fairhaven, Don Swire of East , and Bruce Swire of New Bedford, and he was the brother of the late Wayne Swire and Isabel Rawcliffe. Roger was the father of Roger Swire Jr. of Fall River, and step-father of Debra Isherwood and Theresa Wood both of Fall River. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Roger was the companion of Mary "Angie" Nelson and her family.
Roger was the son of the late Alice (Silveira) and Alvin Swire. He was born in Acushnet, MA. Mr. Swire worked as an oven operator at Acushnet Company.
Mr. Swire's visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Services will take place at 7 P.M. with Pastor Manuel Andrews officiating. Relatives and friends are invited. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St.
In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated. His ashes will be buried at a latter date in Acushnet Cemetery.
