Karen, Jim and Michelle,
I apologise for such a late entry. I was saddend to hear of Rogers passing. I cant start to describe how Roger and your family effected my life. Roger was a role model and mentor to me as a youth. I will never forget the times spent with both Rodger and Jim hunting the NW, and the family trips you included me on. Those times and experiances will always be with me. My prayers are with you.

Dear Walser family,
May I offer my condolences to you and your family at this difficult time.
I would like to let you know that The Idaho Statesman offers a free service to honor your loved one called “In Remembrance”. These short human interest profiles are written by an Idaho Statesman staffer and published on Sunday in the Local section. You can view previous profiles at www.idahostatesman.com/remembrance.
Candidates for the profiles, which are randomly chosen, feature a person from one of the local communities who has passed away in the past three months.
There are no qualifications, just the willingness of family and friends to share their memories about their loved one with the community. An informal photo may also run with the profile.
This is not an obituary but rather, a more personal reflection of each persons’ life and character, which may include quotes from a family members, friends or associates, as well as more detailed account of family relationships, special events, hobbies or personal experiences that helped shape that person's life and that of their family and community.
If you would be interested or would like more information, you may email Stephanie Eddy ([email protected]) or call 377-6481.

To The Family of My Cousin Roger Walser
To all of you, my most sincere condolances in the lost of your son, brother, husband, father. I can honestly feel your pain and understand what you are all going through.
I will always remember the trips to Uncle Charles farm; watching, and eventually, along with strong encouragment to join in, the games of baseball, badmitten, football and good times shared with family. Roger was always full of laughter, smiles and the blond hair. (Although I do vividly rememer the summer of the MOHAWK haircuts!) Dinners at the Walser house when they moved to town were always spectacular with the thrill of watching the BOYS doing the dishes and Roger in the midst of the mayhem...of course.
Your family is in my prayers and thoughts at this time. May you lean heavily upon one another's love and support. For with family close at hand, Roger will never cease to be close, and always remain within your hearts.
Sincerely Karen Walser-DeRoche Negaunee, MI

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up just down the street from the Walser family. Remembering Roger and his siblings brings back fond childhood memories.
May God Bless your family during this difficult time and may you find Peace in knowing that you will be together again in His Kingdom.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
