News Death Notice

WILCOXEN, Roger L. 73, of Springfield died at 6:04 a.m. May 20, 2010 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1936 in Liverpool, IL the son of James Paul and Elda R. (Thomason) Wilcoxen. He retired in 2005 from Navistar after forty years of service. He was a member of UAW #402 and was a US Air Force veteran. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ramona F. and Thomas Morell, two stepsons Randy (Carolyn) Breese, Rex Breese all of Springfield; two grandchildren, Sahara and Ted Morell, six step grandchildren; brother, Gary Wilcoxen, two sisters Sandy Taylor and Ruth Reiners all of Canton, IL and his ex wife of fifteen years Eleanor L. Wilcoxen and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two stepsons Dennis and Ted Breese, one brother and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Chaplin Joe Flora officiating.
