Roger WILSON Obituary
Roger Hatley Wilson was born in Edmonton on November 3, 1927, and passed away quietly and peacefully on July 12, 2013, with his family by his side.
Roger will be missed for his quick wit and generous spirit, his love for family, and his passion for the game of golf and chocolate.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doreen; sons, Jeff (Cathie), and Dave (Wendy); daughter, Maureen (Scott); and grandchildren, Dallas, Joel, Zachary, Tessa- Rae, Nicolette, and Jett.
Please join us for a "Celebration of Roger's Life" on Thursday, July 25 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 6110 Fulton Road, Edmonton. The service will be followed by coffee, tea, and chocolate. Golf Attire and bright colors are welcome. In lieu of flowers, we ask those who would like to make a donation in Roger's memory, to send their support to the United Way, 15132 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta, T5P 3Y3.

I worked with Roger at the Allin Clinic and was inspired by his organization. He had a great sense of humor. I enjoyed his stories of growing up in Edmonton. I am so sorry for your loss.

To all of Roger's family, All of us at medical outpatients are saddened to hear of his passing. We will miss his many visits with us. Roger fought a tough battle with courage, dignity and strength. He has now started another journey. Cherish your memories!

I met Roger in 1978 when we became friends and colleagues. I will always remember Roger walking around the office, swinging his arms, saying, 'I lost it', referring to his golf swing. What Roger never lost was his friendly attitude, commitment to family, and strong work ethic. I miss Roger as a colleague but will miss him much more as a friend. We are currently vacationing in Australia and will be sure to toast Roger "Down Under" with some chocolate on July 25th.
