Seems as though I have known my brother-in-law all of my life. Recall the days when he owned and successfully operated the town's busiest bar. A jokester and amiable man who loved business, hunting, cars and life. He was a fair and honest man who enjoyed golf well into his 90s. Always full of energy, a man with deep religious beliefs. Thank you, Roland, for letting us a part of your life. It was with great sadness that we all said "goodbye" to your wife, my sister, and I realize life was never the same for you after her passing. You managed to stay in your own home with the help of your daughters, Kitty and Sonia. We say "goodbye" as you venture forth and live with the knowledge that your life was one which was well spent. We'll miss your sense of humor and great sessions of debate over politics, our wonderful country and life in general. You were a blessing to all who knew you and we accept your passing with the knowledge that we all will meet again in the future. May God bless and keep you!
Love, The Kirk Family of Orlando.

You will be missed Roland. I can remember clear as day my favorite day I spent with you. You took me on the B.W. Raceway track, finally
getting to experience what your lifes work was about. Being behind one
of your horses, I didn't get it
then...being so little and having wet
clay thrown in my face, but it
certainly was fun! The Krispy Kreme donuts visit afterwards was the best part. You always had a smile on your face and could never sit down, I will miss you. You are now home and enjoying the view. Love you Roland.
