Vanessa and Rolly, some of our dearest friends and best of best neighbors. Rolly, you will always be in our hearts as a sensitive, realistic, generous man and dear friend. Vanessa, we are always here for you. We know you are experiencing such deep shock and loss. May passing time and great memories bring comfort and peace to you. Elizabeth and Yvonne

I will always remember Rolly as cheerful and optimistic, inquisitive about everything around him, and a good-hearted person. The world would be a better place with more people like him. Perhaps his life can set an example for us.

Rolly was such a kind and generous soul. I know he drove us crazy checking up on us sometimes Vanessa , but he was passionately loyal to you and to his friends. I will miss his check-in texts. He never wanted to take anything for himself, but always wanted to give.

We were stunned to learn of Rolly's passing. What a tremendous loss for all those who knew Rolly and for youth sports in Maryland. Rolly was passionate about soccer; he loved to teach the nuances and tactics of the game. He was also a dog lover. Rolly was smart, funny, serious and demanding of those he taught as a trainer. Thank you Rolly for all your time and effort. Rest In Peace.
