Ron Carriere Obituary
Born in Hull, QC he was the son of Robert and Marion Carriere and one of 6 children, Sandra, Gail, Diane, Debbie and Earl.
He began his professional career in advertising in Toronto, ON but quickly shifted into Pharmaceutical sales where he would spend the next 25 years working for Abbott Laboratories. His professional work took him from Ottawa to Toronto, then to Whitby, then to Guelph and finally back to Ottawa where we finished his career.
Ron was an avid fan of music, tennis and 30+ year resident of the Glebe.
In addition to his beloved wife Debbie, Ron is survived by his four children, Brett, Evan, Brooke and Drew.
The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 10th, 2:30PM-5:30PM at Allegro Ristorante 422 Preston Street, Little Italy, Ottawa, ON.

To all of Ronnie's family...I would express my deepest condolences on behalf of the Lariviere family (Paulette, Lise, Marcel, Michel) and myself Jean...I have only few childhood memories of Ronnie and they are all very good ones...

So very sorry to hear about Ron. We worked together for many years and he was a wonderful colleague and more importantly an even better person. I feel like I know his family well from all of the time he spent sharing.

My deepest condolences. I would have liked to join in Ron's celebration of life tomorrow but I have that awful cold that has hit our area and I wouldn't want to spread all those germs. I shall be with you all in spirit.

I was lucky enough to work with Ron for many years. Although we didn't see each other very much, I always looked forward to talking to him about work and life. He had older boys than I did, so he was always gracious enough to give me advice about boys (and hockey!). It was a pleasure to know you, Ron. Hugs and prayers to the family

I had the pleasure of working with Ron for almost 20 years at Abbott. His smile and his gentleness always remained with me. He used to talk to me about his family and how proud he was. I am so sad for all of you for your lost.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Ron had died. He was generous and outgoing and so much fun. Ron added so much energy and enthusiasm to the neighbourhood. It just won't be the same without him.
