Ron and I worked together at the Oregon PUC. Am saddened by the loss of Ron as he was really a person who treated me personally with respect and consideration. Many difficult issues during a turbulent time in the utility industries, and he reached out to understand issues and make sensible decisions. I liked and respected him very much.

Ron provided such great leadership to conduct civilized dialogues via the Salem City Club and in many other scenarios, I am sure...RIP, Ron...thank you for all of your work to make a difference while you were here.

Ron was an amazing man - smart, thoughtful, capable, ethical, fun, and funny. A few years ago he wrote a heartfelt letter for my aunt's funeral that I tried, unsuccessfully, to read aloud because it was so profound. He had so many gifts that he used to help others, of which writing was just one. He made a big impact in Oregon and he'll be missed greatly.

Ron was a wonderful colleague while working in Jim Weaver´s district office in Eugene. So awesome to read about all his worldly accomplishments.
