Ron Thompson

Dear Thompson Family,
I have been a dear friend of Ron's since 1985. Ron was a rare man, one that was Old School never forgetting his coal mine roots... and always a gentleman. He was man you could look up to and take his word on a handshake. I was devastated to learn of his passing (after) his funeral. He will always hold a place in my heart... and the hearts of everyone who had a chance to know him as a friend. Im so very very sorry for your loss. His memory will always shine. I had the honor of working for Ron from 1988-1998 and he was a man of utmost integrity, character, and morals. He was a great mentor and truly wanted his people to be successful. I am truly thankful for the many opportunities he gave me. God bless the Thompson family and I'm so sorry for your loss. He will be missed greatly.

Ron was instrumental in guiding myself and friends in our quest for fitness in our very young teenage years at Nautilus in the Sacramento area. A mentor in the fitness area that continues to this day. He was a great motivator and developer of young athletes. Losing him is a tremendous loss.

Ron was always a great face to see in the mornings at the gym...and his car in the parking lot was a conversation piece. Although never knowing him personally, we shared a similar interest. My condolences to his wife and all those who are touched by his passing. He will always be with you in spirit. He will be missed.
