We echo all the wonderful tributes to Ron in his Guestbook. Starting with being best friends with Jack in the 1950's at Uplands Airport to recently having so much fun with you at dog shows and everything in between.
Our thoughts and prayers to your family and friends. You will be missed.

Will forever remember the days shared as Kanata "pioneers" on Tiffany, much enlivened by Ron's gleeful and ascerbic political commentary, his delight in all things electronic, his sense of humour, and love of life. Deepest sympathies to his family in this painful time.

I met Ron at Tower Productions on Sparks Street in 1961 when I was 17. For over 50 years he has been a friend and mentor for my love of music, hifi and home theatre. I will miss his friendship, knowledge and laughter greatly.

Ronnie, Stephen, Jamie,
T'is a moment when memories rush to the surface of my mind of so many fun-filled days spent with you and your parents when you were “tiny tots” and so into everything! Those were truly memorable days with your dad who I remember so well. What comes so strongly to my mind is his ever-present smile…so warm and engaging…the outward sign of a most kind and gracious heart, balanced with just the right amount of mischievous wit.
I suspect a lot of who Ron was, was poured into you over the years, and so he lives on through you.
For you boys, and for dear Penny, consider this a fond embrace of affection across the miles to assure you that love, care, concern, and sympathy surround you through this season of grief. I like to think as Indian poet laureate Tagore once wrote that: death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.
Love,
Carole (Rodger) Page, San Marcos, CA.

Through one of life's fortunate coincidences, I met Ron White while sharing a townhouse with his two sons in Kanata, 2009-2011. Although our views on many topics were discordant, our discussions were civilized and enlightening. I will remember Ron as an engaging and intelligent man. Eternal his memory. ????? ???? ???'???.

A senior member of the "Old Guard" of the pioneer spirit long forgotten in Kanata. Family friend and father to my best bud, Ron Jr. Like most who knew Ron, his laugh, his dry wit and endearing smile will be missed.
But most of all I will remember the one responsible for drawing me into the rewarding and ever inescapable, black whole of home theatre! I cherish all audio/visual entertainment to it's fullest, now and always, having known Ron. Thanks for that.
My thoughts go out to all Ron's family at this difficult time.

Sure will miss you, old friend. Can't help but think about the crazy years at Nepean High School, hanging out at CKOY, the years as backyard neighbours in the Tiffany/Leacock area of Kanata and the countless weekends with family at Camp Fortune. Your laugh and your unique and contagious sense of humour will remain in my memory forever. Good-bye buddy - rest well.
