Anne and Family: I just heard about the passing of Ron and my sincere condolences go out to you and your family for your lose. As you know I was always and will be one of Ron's faithful fans and he was also a very dear friend to me and my family. My affections and prayers goes out to you and your family. P.S. My son Ronnie Jr. and I often talk about the trip we had with Ron to Dinosaur Park. Ronnie calls it the 'The Three Ronnie's Trip'....lol

I am so sorry about Ron's passing. We had some fun talks about football. We would tease each other as I was from Saskatchewan and "one of those" Rider fans. Ron was such a nice person.

Ann, Carolanne and Karen: We were so sorry to hear that your husband and dad passed away so suddenly. I imagine the shock of such a big loss will carry you through the first part of this painful time. I really liked your dad although I didn't realize how famous and gifted he had been as a football player. My mom and Allen knew, but I saw him as your dad- a kind and decent man. Our prayers go out to you all as you grieve this major loss. If we can help in any way, please don't hesitate to ask. By the way, his Celebration of Life was beautiful.

My deepest sympathy for the lose of Ron. I had the privilage of having him as an offensive line coach at the U of C, where he taught me a lot about football and responsibility. Our friendship has continued over the years doing his plumbing work. I will always remember his smiling face and the twinkle in his eyes. There will be no more holding calls Ron.

Carol I worked with you back at Dome Petroleum when you worked there for one summer. I remember us chatting about my love of football and that your dad played with the Stamps.

So sorry to hear you are on your own Anne without the love of your life. Only met Ron briefly with you on a couple occasions but knowing you extended my appreciation of a well deserving couple together in life.
