Ronald Beinner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 12, 2025.
Ronald William "Ron" Beinner of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 23, 2024, at the age of 88.

Born on February 21, 1936, in Irvington, New Jersey, Ron was the son of Max and Margaret Beinner and the brother of David Beinner and the late Joyce Rogers. He served with honor in the U.S. Marine Corps before earning his Business Administration degree from Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey.

Ron met his wife of 50 years, Anne Nichols of Cedartown, Georgia, while they were both working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C.. Inspired by his uncle, William C. Hinze, Jr., Ron served 23 years as a Special Agent with the FBI. His career took him and his family on adventures across the United States from D.C to Kansas City, Shreveport, New Orleans, Rapid City, and Seattle before he and Anne retired to Cannon Beach, Oregon, and Scottsdale. Anne passed away in 2010.

In 2012, Ron married Sally Grover of Milwaukee. Together they relocated to Puerto Vallarta. He is survived by his wife Sally; his children Ron Beinner Jr. of Los Angeles; Karen and her husband Ron Michalk of Austin, Texas; and Steve Beinner and his wife Kirsten of Mercer Island, Washington; as well as three grandchildren: Christina (29), Ryan (26), and Johnny (21).

Ron was a devoted father and grandfather who loved reading, traveling, and the family dogs, Prince, Coco, Midnight, Micah, Jake, Ranger, Lucy, Chili, Pepper and Botina. A private service will be held in Cannon Beach, Oregon, in the summer of 2025. Donations in his memory may be made to the National Canine Cancer Society in memory of Ron and Anne's beloved Golden Retriever, Ranger.
