Ron was some kind of miracle to me. I will always hold him responsible for the discovery of my art-brain. Thanks, Ron.

Ron was a wonderful person. I greatly admired him. It is comforting to know that his spirit lives on though his artwork and the legacy of his superb teaching style.

Ron was a good friend and classmate in the South Milwaukee High School Class of 1963. I was glad that he was able to share his incredible talent with so many people during his lifetime. We will all miss him.

Ron would always take the time to offer suggestions on my paintings, even though I was not a student of his. Though I was not ever formally a student of his, he taught me a lot about painting. I appreciate his sense of humor, stories, and wisdom about something he was clearly passionate about. Your spirit will be remembered by all who knew you. Ron was an exceptional l artist and teacher. It saddens me to hear of his passing. Ron brings back many good memories of my years in art school. Ron is an artist's artist, a reminder of that an artists calling is to speak brutal truth. He, is missed.
