Ronald Boiter Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 21, 2023.
Ronald Mason Boiter, 69, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on October 19, after a ten year battle with cancer. Ron graduated from Columbia High School in Decatur, Georgia, and attended college in Springfield, Missouri. Ron went on to a successful career in mortgage finance.

Ron loved fishing, vacationing at the beach and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Brookwood Church and enjoyed involvement in both home and foreign missions.

Family members who remain are his wife of 20 years, Susan Hayes Boiter; four daughters: Michelle (David) Brown; Savannah Boiter; Nikki (Andrew) Lipscomb; and Sally Holly; nine grandchildren; his mother Dorothy Boiter; and his sister Carolyn (Bryan) Rainbow, and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his former wife, Jacquelyn Rogers Boiter, and his father, Charles Boiter.

Ron has donated his body to the Willed Body Program at the Upstate USC School of Medicine for medical research and education. As per Ron's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

My husband and I spent some time with Ron a few weeks ago and although his physical body was weak, His faith in Jesus was strong and his concern was not for himself, but for his family. It was a blessing spending that time with him.
