Ronald Jim Bot

Ronald Jim Bot, was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 10, 1961 at the Grace Hospital. Ron was the second child and eldest son of William Bot and Hanny Terstall.

Ron grew up mainly in Calgary, Alberta with his parents and three siblings Monica, Kevin and Jodi. Ron was surrounded with the love of many extended family members and friends during his early years in Calgary.

Ron relocated to the Lower Mainland, British Columbia in 1991 with his brother Kevin for employment opportunities and he primarily resided there other than short relocations to Toronto, Armstrong and Calgary.

Ron joyfully welcomed his daughter Cassidy into the world in July 1998 and flourished in the transition to fatherhood and treasured every moment he spent with her.

Ron touched the lives of many people with his smile, sense of humor, personality and generosity. He will forever be remembered by his loving parents William Bot and Hanny Terstall (Rob), devoted brother Kevin (Fabienne), adoring sisters Monica Taylor and Jodi Chaisson, beloved daughter Cassidy Bot (mom Leslie Fehr), treasured nieces and nephews Chris Taylor, Vicki Proulx, Colin Taylor, Danielle Chaisson, Stephen Chaisson and Justin Chaisson, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
